Incredibly thrilled to announce that Go Go Gorillas has been selected as one of the titles available at the Scholastic Book Fair for fall 2018. Our apes will be dancing their way into THOUSANDS of schools! Not only that, but it’ll be available in an affordable paperback format for the first time.

I haven’t seen a copy of the paperback yet and they haven’t printed up those flyers that go home with students yet, but you bet your gorilla-loving heart I’ll share them when I do.

I am incredibly geeked for another reason. I grew up in rural Ohio where my nearest bookstore was a 30 minute drive away. This was before Amazon or even the internet, so the Scholastic Book Fair was one of my few opportunities to buy new books as a child. I freaked out every time, planning my attack by circling titles I had to have and begging my parents for money.

I am still a little stunned that something I wrote now gets to be part of that magic.
